Hudson Boosters Softball - Overview

Hudson Boosters Softball provides opportunities for girls of all skill
levels, grades preschool (age 5) through high school.

In-House Recreational

  • Girls preschool (age 5) - 12th grade (see chart on program page for leagues ages)
  • Season runs mid-May - late July
  • Games at North Hudson Elementary
  • Focus on skill development, learning the game
  • No tryouts, all play & rotate positions

2024 IN-HOUSE SOFTBALL REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.

Traveling Program

  • Girls age group 8U - 18U (see chart on program page for team level by age)
  • Season runs late April - July. Off-season winter training sessions are also available.
  • Games held at Grandview Park (Hudson) and various parks around the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin area.
  • Tryouts for team formations
  • Play in 18-20 Tri County League games located in western WI and the east metro. In addition, there will be 4-6 weekend tournaments.

2024 TRAVELING SOFTBALL TRYOUTS WERE  HELD ON 10/7/2023.  REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.

2024 TRAVELING SOFTBALL ROSTERS

Fall Softball

  • Girls age group 8U - 18U (see chart on program page for team level by age)
  • Season runs mid-August - late September.
  • Games held at Grandview Park (Hudson) and various parks around the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin area.  
  • There are no tryouts. Teams will be formed by the Boosters Softball committee, based on age, previous experience, self evaluation on registration form and pitching/catching needs.  No play with or carpooling requests will be considered with team formation.
  • League games are double headers, held on either a Saturday or Sunday depending on your player's age.  Double headers typically start at Noon or 3pm.  The focus of this program is player development.  It is a good introduction into a traveling-type atmosphere for players that are considering playing traveling softball in the following summer.
