In-House Softball Players/Parents/Grandparents/Cousins/Friends/Umpires:

WELCOME TO HUDSON BOOSTERS IN-HOUSE SOFTBALL LEAGUE FOR 2024! I am back for my fifth year as In-House Director. We are excited to start another season and continue to grow a program where all girls have the opportunity to play this wonderful game. 2024 will be a transitional year for us as we will be navigating the construction/expansion of the North Hudson Elementary gym. As a result, we will be losing our North Field. While this will not affect us in 2024, we are looking at solutions for 2025 and beyond to keep our program growing, accessible to all, and fun. 

CONTINUING IN 2024:

• A focus on pitching starting at our JUNIORS level. Pitching is paramount in softball and we want all players and teams within our program getting the same consistent  pitching instruction, which will make our product better for the players, the coaches, the teams and the fans.
• More out-of-Hudson teams who want to participate in our league. THIS IS GREAT NEWS, and shows that there is a desire among us and our surrounding communities to have a youth sports program where the emphasis is on learning and having fun.

Registration will open on February 1 and close on April 7. It is important to get signed up by this deadline as we will start to form teams immediately upon registration closing. Much more communication to follow, but never hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.

TEAMWORK, HUSTLE, HAVE FUN!

All In-House programs use CURRENT GRADE (as of spring of each season) for program eligibility.  If you are not sure which program a player is eligible for, look at the below Grade/League Chart for age and cost specifics.

In-House Recreational Overview

• Girls from Pre-K (5 yrs old) through 12th grade are eligible for this program
• Focus is on on teaching the game of softball, skill development, hard work, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
• Like all Booster programs, it is designed to develop the total individual, not just the athlete. The In-House Program emphasizes equal playing time for all participants.

In-House Eligibility Requirements

• The Hudson Booster Program is for children that are not a member of another softball team whose games and/or practices would conflict with the Hudson Booster Program.
• Requests for carpooling and playing with others will be considered through the 2nd grade, but there is no guarantee that they will be granted.
• There is no guarantee of participating in a In-House program if registration is received after April 7 though requests will be taken on a case-by-case basis.

Girls Only T-Ball

The Hudson Boosters offer a Girls Only T-Ball league for current Pre-K (5 yrs old) and Kindergarten players. This league will play its games at the North Hudson Elementary School fields, which will now host all of the Girls In-House programs.
