Hudson Boosters Fall Softball

Program overview:

  • The entire season - practices, games & final tournament - lasts approximately 7 weeks, beginning in mid-August and ending in late September
  • Practices are held 1-2 times per week in the evening per the coach's discretion.
  • League games are double headers at various parks around the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin area, held on either a Saturday or Sunday depending on your player's age.  Double headers typically start at Noon or 3 pm. The focus of this program is player development.  It is a good introduction to a traveling-type atmosphere for players who are considering playing traveling softball in the following summer.

  • There are no tryouts. Teams will be formed by the Boosters Softball committee based on previous experience, self-evaluation on the registration form, and pitching/catching needs.  No play-with or carpooling requests will be considered with team formation.

  • The exact game schedule, including time and location, is released 3-5 days in advance.  This allows the league to adjust the schedule to have teams with a similar record play each week.  There will always be two games on Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
  • Registration fee includes a jersey.  Pants and other uniform parts are to be supplied by the players.
    • 8U Fee:  $100
    • 10U Fee:  $150
    • 12U Fee:  $150
    • 14U Fee:  $150
    • 16U Fee:  $150
    • 18U Fee:  $150

  • This is a volunteer-run organization.  3 volunteer hours are required for Fall Softball.
