This is for baseball try-outs only.  The traveling program registration link will be sent once your son is placed on a team.
If you are only registering for the in-house program that session will be posted soon once it is live.

2015 Softball Registration:  Traveling and In-house (includes try-out registration)
The only change for softball registration in 2015 is that it is completely separate from the baseball registration.

Hudson Booster Inc. Mission and Vision statements

The Hudson Boosters Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide youth baseball, softball, and football programs that match the skill level of the participants.  We will provide youth with organized competition in a safe environment while teaching sportsmanship, discipline, and love of the games.  Our club will also provide service to our community.

To be recognized and respected as one of the premier youth organizations in western Wisconsin, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels in baseball, softball, and football through the teaching of both fundamental and advanced skills, personal values, civic pride, and sportsmanship.  This will be done using regulatory compliant equipment on outstanding facilities in the Hudson community.

Hudson Boosters - changes for 2015

There is a change in the Volunteer Program (click here for the Volunteer FAQ).

  • The Booster club has set the DIBS requirements at 4 hours per player, with a family maximum of 8 hours.
  • Families not fulfilling their DIBS hours by October 1 will be charged $99 for 4 hours not completed and an additional $99 for 8 hours not completed.
  • Partial credit cannot be given, however completing each set of 4 hours will eliminate one $99 payment.

As in previous years, all traveling programs plus in-house programs 3rd grade and above will have this requirement.  Tee-ball and machine pitch leagues do not have this requirement.  Coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers will still have their Dibs/volunteer hours WAIVED for their entire family up to the 8 hour/$200 max.  This is a great chance for you to volunteer, teaching sportsmanship and game skills to the youth of Hudson. As a 100% volunteer organization, we cannot run these programs without your help, and thanks ahead of time for your efforts!

For 2015 in order for easier financial tracking and reporting and also Dibs tracking, the Boosters have decided to split up the baseball and softball registration sessions.  With 600+ baseball and 300+ softball players each sport is large enough to require its own system for registering and rostering kids onto the teams.  Specific changes are:

  • The traveling tryout registration is now separate from the actual league/program registrations.
  • You will pay the $25 try out fee only, then when your son's team placement is determined, you will register again for the specific traveling or in-house program.
  • Multiple children in each program (traveling or in-house) can still be registered in the same session.  If you have children in each of the boys programs they will have to be registered separately in each system.

  • The tryout, in-house and traveling registration and payments are still all together as in previous years, but the softball registration is separate from the baseball forms.
  • Families with multiple softball players can still register them all in one registration session.
  • Those 14U and 16U players that tried out in the fall and made the "top 7" will not need to register again.
